We specialize in foundation training for you and your puppy!

More dog's lives are cut short due to behavioral problems than ANY other reason!  The socialization period for dogs ENDS at 4 months of age!  Start your puppy EARLY!

PLEASE READ!  Important information from the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior on puppy socialization.

This class is for puppies 8 weeks up to 4.5 months. This is the most influential time owners have to direct desirable behaviors. All the basics are covered as well as social playtime is used to teach puppies to come from distractions!  Take advantage of this critical time!   $120.00 Dogs obtained from Animal Services receive a $5.00 discount

Beginning Group Classes/ 6week course

Any dog 4-1/2 months and older. We cover the basics such as sit, down, stay, come, owner attention, walking on a loose leash and fun learning games.   $120.00  Dogs obtained from Animal Services receive a $5.00 discount.

Intermediate Group/ 6 week course

This class is for any graduate of our puppy or beginning group class. We learn to expand on the basics with more focus on working off leash and working further distances. We add more distractions and learn targeting. We play a lot of learning games!  $110.00 

Private Training

Individuals and families who desire specialized training designed for more specific needs. A more flexible schedule is offered for behavior problems such as:  aggression, fears, phobias, separation anxiety, or simply basic commands with a one-on-one focus. We use scientific procedures such as Classical Conditioning and Counter Conditioning to modify the behavior of aggressive/fearful dogs. It is critical not to use harsh training methods for a dog displaying aggressive/fearful behavior!  It makes them MORE aggressive or fearful! $70.00/HR for in- home training in the Olympia area.  Please call for rates out of the Olympia area.

Board & Train
Your dog lives in our home while being trained, not in a kennel run.  It is treated as one of our furry family members. Due to this living arrangement we can not take any dog/people aggressive dogs at this time.

DAY CAMP & TRAIN
Drop your dog off in the morning on your way to work, pick him up after work!
Your dog will be exercised and trained during the day.

NEW!!! PUPPY PLAYSCHOOL
Get your puppy started on the right paw!  Early, humane training, guidance and socialization are vital for all puppies.  Our playschool will help you get through those trying days so that your pup will grow into a well-adjusted canine companion.
Some of the topics covered will include: Socialization with dogs and people while practcing good manners; Helping your pup enjoy grooming and Vet activities; Crate training; Puppy proofing your home; House training your pup; Playtime with your pup; Strange people and stranger things; and Leash walking for the young pup.

All classes include problem solving for normal k9 behaviors such as chewing, barking, jumping up on people, leash pulling, digging nipping/mouthing and housebreaking.We incorporate off leash playtime into our training sessions!  This teaches our dogs good social skills and to come out of a play time with other dogs when called.
